Pidgin is an free instant messaging program for Windows, BSD, Linux and other Unixes, release under the GNU General Public License (GPL). The best option on pidgin, you can be chatting with friends on ICQ, AIM, Jabber/XMPP, Yahoo!, MSN Messenger, Bonjour, IRC, Gadu-Gadu, Novell GroupWise Messenger, Lotus Sametime, QQ, SILC, MySpaceIM, SIMPLE and Zephyr at the same time.

i luv to use pidgin, but i’ll prefer digsby, because.. digsby can display my mail status. but the problem is, digsby don’t have many emoticon as pidgin
and another one. pidgin have annoying sound if i use it
