A mobile phone is an electronic device used for communication over a network. Mobile phones may support many additional services and accessories, such as SMS for text messaging, packet switching for access to the Internet, email, gaming, infrared, bluetooth, MMS for sending and receiving photos and video and camera with video recorder. Here some tips about your cell phone battery:

1. Turn the phone off if you dont want answering the phone while sleeping or after business hours or in an area with no reception. This is simplest way of saving your battery’s power. .

2. Switch off the vibrate function on your cell phone because the vibrate function uses up a lot of battery power. Keep the ring tone volume as low as possible.

3. Stop searching for a signal When you are in an area with poor or no signal because cell phones will use up all power for searching signal. Make sure you have a great signal where you use your phone to keep battery life.

4. Turn off Bluetooth option because bluetooth will drain your battery very quickly, and having it on can cause your problems near virus infected.

5. Turn off your phones back light because the light also uses battery power. Some phones have an ambient light sensor, which can turn off the back light in bright conditions and enable it in darker ones.

6. Turn off WIFI and GPS if your phone has these features built in to save more power.

7. If your phone has a Battery Save option, you can turn this on to increase the life of your battery.

8. You should not have to turn off your phone to charge it. Most battery chargers deliver more than enough current to power your phone and charge it at the same time. Doing so will not lengthen the charge time, and leaving a phone on allows the user to be aware of its fuel gauge, so that you can remove it when the battery is full.

9. When using a Cell Phone Chargers in your car, do not charge the battery when the inside temperature of your car is hot. Wait until the car temperature has cooled before you start charging your cell phone.

10. Never dispose of old batteries in the trash because batteries contain toxic metals, and electronic waste from batteries and other electronic components is becoming a major problem.

11. Do not store a lithium battery with a very low charge for a long time, the battery monitor will draw a small current, which might cause a ‘deep discharge’ which may cause damage to the battery.

12. You can play games in your cell phone but think about your cell phone battery too because playing games in your phone will drain your battery very quickly.

13. If you are using a Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMh) or Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery, your battery charging time should be less than 14 hours or you risk damaging the battery by overcharging.
