Here are step you need the following to start:
1. WinRar application ( buy or get free )
2. 5-15 minutes
3. A Drink of your choice..LoL !
okay now first get the file you want to upload mine will be called example.rar right click the folder/files you want to upload (assuming you have WinRar installed) and click add to archive.
Click lock archive tick so it cant be tampered with (besides extract) click the advanced tab and click set password…set a password you would use alot (not your login!) so people can distinguish your posts. click the comment tab and enter a comment if you want (you can also load a comment .txt like i do). Then click ok. should have now a .RAR called example.rar. Open your browser ( FireFox 3 Recommend ) and go to rapidshare.com then click upload and choose your file from where it is (desktop for me) click upload (the orb that appears). You will then get 2 links…just scroll all the way down… click collectors account and create an account (do not use the password for your rars as this is an account ). After create rapidshare account you will get a message
Account created! Please login now. Your data has already been copied into the Premium Zone. Don’t forget to take note of your password!
click ok and you can log in. thats it your done, 1st successful upload. If you want to earn points, and to earn points you must upload files at least 1mb in size and FREE users have to download it. if premium members do, you don’t get points.. its a game.
You might want to use rapiduploader to upload all your apps (does it quietly) And rapidshare rsm to download RS files and upload (download for premium). I use the 1st one as the 2nd 1 is not nice to vista.
Each time a Free Users downloads your files, you gain points. You get a RapidPoint for each download, provided that the file is bigger than 1 megabyte and the user has not generated more than 5 RapidPoints in the last hour. Your files have to be stored in the Collectors Zone or the Premium-Zone so that we can assign the download to your account.
RapidPoints can be exchanged for a Premium account or to extend your Premium membership. For this, you can go to the menu option “Redeem RapidPoints” in the Free Zone or Premium Zone.
